The AI Playground is a safe environment where you can test and refine your AI assistants before deploying them to your live channels. It's like a rehearsal stage for your AI, allowing you to experiment with different settings and see how they affect the conversation.

How to Use the AI Playground

  1. Navigate to the AI Playground: You can find the AI Playground in the Chat Zone menu.
  2. Select an Assistant: Choose the AI assistant you want to test from the dropdown menu.
  3. Adjust the Parameters: Use the settings panel to adjust the AI's parameters, such as:
    • Personality and Tone: Define how the AI should sound to your users.
    • Temperature: Control the randomness of the AI's responses.
    • History Size: Determine how much of the conversation history the AI should remember.
    • Knowledge Settings: Configure how the AI should use your knowledge base.
  4. Start a Conversation: Have a conversation with the AI to see how it responds.
  5. Publish Your Configuration: If you're happy with the results, you can publish the configuration to your live assistant.

Playground Credits

To ensure a safe testing environment that doesn't unexpectedly drain your production budget, the AI Playground uses its own dedicated credit balance.

Managing Playground Credits

  • Dedicated Balance: You can see your remaining playground credits at the top of the Playground screen.
  • Transferring Credits: If you run out of playground credits, you can transfer them from your main account balance.
    1. Click the Add Credits button in the Playground.
    2. Enter the amount of credits you wish to move from your main balance.
    3. Confirm the transfer.
  • Safe Testing: This allows you to allocate a specific "budget" for experimentation and development without affecting your live customer support operations.

Note: Credits transferred to the playground are dedicated to playground usage and help you monitor the cost of your AI configurations during the testing phase.
